What a morning! β˜€οΈβš“

See you in May 2025 😎

A Flotilla Finale: On this stunningly spectacular late October morning in Fairport, NYβ€”some of the very last boats on the Erie Canal head to dry dock for the off-season. And a rare sight as a trio of tour boats travel east: the Colonial Belle, Riverie and Sam Patch are all traveling together as they navigate to their winter homes. The two smaller boats will dry dock in nearby Macedon, NY while the Belle proceeds further east to Lyons. They’ll return to service in 2025–a huge year for the Erie Canal as this historic waterway marks its bicenntenial. Colonial Belle NYS Canal Corporation

When we moved Riverie to Pittsford last week, we were honored to host the Pittsford, NY Chamber of Commerce !

Here is a review of their time on board:
"A fabulous time on the water last night! All 25 who registered attended. Mother Nature cooperated with a gorgeous evening. The staff took great care of us onboard and the food from Simply Crepes Pittsford was wonderful.

And many sailors did not want to leave the boat after we returned to the dock, indicating that the social mixer was an absolute success.

Many thanks for Corn Hill Navigation's efforts on our behalf for a perfect evening!"

Now is the time to book your charter before the season ends! Please reach out to [email protected] to inquire about your special event or head to our website www.cornhillnav.org/private-charters to learn more.

We loved having Homesteads for Hope on board for one of our NYS Canal Corporation(On The Canals) cruises. We are grateful for the funding to be able to bring community groups like Homesteads for Hope out on our waterways. This group LOVED seeing fish jump and they loved using binoculars to spot all the birds along our route.

Thanks also to Rochester Accessible Adventures for joining us on board this trip and thanks to funding through The Golisano Foundation which is providing the opportunity for our organization to continue a path of learning, growing, and improving our operations with accessibility for all in mind! We had a GREAT charter on board Riverie this past Friday with a group from the Rochester Spinal Association!

We had 10 guests on board who used a wheelchair, a mixture of them being power and manual wheelchairs. All had a great time on board and were able to enjoy the Genesee River and Erie Canal from different vantage points on Riverie.

This charter was made possible through a grant through NYS Canal Corporation(On The Canals) along with a grant through The Golisano Foundation which has allowed us the opportunity to work with Rochester Accessible Adventures to brainstorm ways we can continue to improve our operations so that our cruises can be accessible and enjoyable for all.

If you are a wheelchair user and looking for an enjoyable experience on our waterways, please take a look at our Riverie tour boat schedule. We have many cruise options available and we hope to see you on board! www.cornhillnav.org/riverie
