We all know what it is like to get those difficult questions when you know the answer isn't what the families want to hear, but you don't want to lie to them. This is a pretty good article on the sexual assault question that you all might get something out of.

"We handle it really well" is not the answer a mother and daughter were looking for.

This was my first semester as the Ambassador Advisor, from Fall 2013. You can definitely see the look of stress on my face. The stress has fallen, and I bid each Ambassador new and old farewell as I look forward to the next chapter in my life. There will always be a special place in my heart for the Ambassador Program, best of luck to each of you and if you ever feel like you've never impacted anyone's life, never forget how you impacted mine. At retreat today we welcomed FORTY new ambassadors! We are so excited to for them to began training and welcoming Winthrop's prospective students. Thanks for all of your hard work. It's going to be a wonderful semester!

Winthrop Ambassadors are making a difference in their community! Along with members of the Exercise Science club and Gamma Beta Phi, offices at a nonprofit called Safe Passage are getting repainted! Thanks to everyone who participated!

If you or anyone you know are interested in becoming a Winthrop Ambassador, make sure to come to one of our Information Sessions. The info session schedule is as follows:

Tuesday, Sept. 9th at 11 am
Thursday, Sept. 11th at 7 pm
Wednesday, Sept. 17th at 5 pm
Tuesday, Sept. 23rd at 7 pm
Thursday, Sept. 25th at 11 am

All info sessions will be held in Joynes (the Admissions office). You must attend ONE info session before applying to the program.
