Metro has some exciting news on our late night service! For the next three Saturdays (April 30, May 7, and May 14), the Late Night Route 53 from Augustana College - Illinois to Downtown Rock Island is BACK! Health and safety are top priorities for Metro. Due to class cancellations and the temporary statewide restrictions on bars and restaurants, Metro is temporarily suspending the late night Route 53 service on Thursday-Saturday evenings. Metro's other services remain as scheduled during this time. Riders can learn more about Metro's efforts regarding COVID-19 preparedness and get up-to-date service information on our website.

Health and safety are top priorities for Metro. We encourage riders to follow recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to reduce the spread of illness, including the virus that causes coronavirus (COVID-19).

• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with
unwashed hands;
• Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or using an alcohol-based sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol (if soap is not available);
• Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, and ensure that it is properly disposed in the trash;
• Avoid close contact with individuals who are sick; and
• Avoid travel if you are sick.
