Valuable information and education at the link provided here. We love this area and we want everyone who visits to understand the challenges it faces. The bay out there is beautiful, but things are not always as it seems. The more we all know the more we will do to protect the resource that makes this area so special. It’s not something we take for granted. Thank you for reading and sharing and doing what you can to assure your bay gets healthy and stays that way.

All the good things happening in this post. Wonderful guests fishing with Cassio Silva Fly Fishing while supporting The Devils River Conservancy.

A memorable day yesterday with Betsy and Rick.

Rick won this trip supporting the a cause dear to both of us. Although first time chasing redfish on the coast, his many years fly fishing for bass on the Devils and other Texas rivers had him prepared. After the gale winds the previous day it seemed everything was hungry and looking for a meal, including plenty of big redfish. Dolphins, whooping cranes, and plenty of other wildlife made an appearance to complete a very special day.
