Out Of Office…. Please follow along to n my European adventures over the next 10 days! Our first stop will be to explore and visit with our daughter, Maddie, who is studying abroad in Copenhagen this semester. From there we will be heading to London to explore for a few days. Stay tuned as I explore new cities, tours and restaurants for your next Europe vacation!

We have been enjoying our time here in Grand Cayman! From our day spent by the pool in a luxury day bed, to our time on the ocean visiting Sting Ray City and Starfish Point, to our luxury day bed rental on the beach. Life is good here in the Cayman Islands!

If swimming with the manatees is on your bucket list, I’ve got you covered! My family and I made the 90-minute drive from Clearwater Beach to Homosassa, FL yesterday to see the beautiful animals!

These gentle giants swam right up to us, under us and were generally curious about what was happening. We saw mamas and their babies, adults and were just in awe the entire time!

This would be a great side trip from the Orlando area as well, Disney friends!

Celebrating the New Year at the beautiful Sandpearl Resort in Clearwater Beach, FL. Greeted by the friendly staff with mimosas for the adults and waters for the girls. We are spending some time exploring the resort.

So happy to have home from Georgetown!! Freshman year is in the books!!

And, today she’s off on another adventure to Europe for the next 2 weeks! Just dropped her at the train station to head to NYC to meet her friends and then onto the city of lights!! So excited for her to have this experience!!

Today we moved to the beautiful Isla Bella Beach Resort! If you are looking for a 5-star luxury resort in the Keys, this is absolutely the place for you!

I will post some more pictures and video of this beautiful resort soon!

Our last day at Hawks Cay Resort was spent exploring Sombrero Beach! This stunning, white sand beach is located about 15 min from the resort in Marathon, FL in a residential neighborhood.

Didn’t bring an umbrella or chairs? Don’t even worry about it! I’m met the amazing owner of Yzzi Beach Chair Rentals! Jen is awesome!! She does daily rentals or weekly and delivers them to you at the beach! Chairs and umbrellas are $10 each for the day!! I highly recommend renting from her!!

Day 2 at Hawks Cay, we explored the Dolphin Connection. Did you know that you can swim with the dolphins?

They have different packages to enjoy depending on what you want to do? Some people chose to stay on the dock with the little ones, learning commands and interacting with the dolphins that way. Others chose to swim and touch the dolphins in the lagoon.

We spent our first day at Hawks Cay enjoying the resort pool, lagoon and Oasis Cay (adults only pool). The staff couldn’t be friendlier or more helpful! The pools are great, plenty of seating no matter what time of day you head down.

Want to guarantee seating and shade, rent a cabana at the Oasis Cay or Coral Cay (Kids pool)!

Some amenities that are included in your stay are stand up PaddleBoards, kayaks and bicycle rentals!

Our first stop is Duck Key! Located about 1.5 hours from Miami, this beautiful island has a little bit of everything. From sunbathing, snorkeling, paddle boarding and kayaking to fishing, dolphin and sunset cruises! Pick your adventure and have fun!

We are staying at the beautifully appointed Hawks Cay Resort. From the moment we arrived, the staff has been friendly, efficient and accommodating! The spacious rooms with have a variety of bedding options depending on what your family needs… king, 2 Queen, bungalows and villas. Take a look at our spacious 2 queen bedded room!
