Once a year, the skyliner takes a little break to make sure it is in tip-top shape. Unfortunately, that means my favorite mode of transportation is down this week. Disney will still get you where you need to go with extra busses added to the schedule while it's down!

🚨Friendly Reminder for Disney Guests this upcoming week: The Disney Skyliner will be closed temporarily for refurbishment from January 16th - January 21st. Bus transportation will be available for all guests staying at a skyliner resort. 🚡

🚨Disney Skyliner service to & from the Riviera Resort & International Gateway (EPCOT) will remain closed until January 27th.

Merry Christmas Eve! Thinking back to this magical moment at the Grand Floridian .... the whole building smells like gingerbread, there are trees and decorations everywhere celebrating the 12 days of Christmas, and a pianist playing holiday music. I stopped to listen and he asked what song I'd like to hear so I requested one of my favorites - the little drummer boy. A magical memory for sure!

A lot of my holiday content focuses on Christmas because that is what I grew up with. EPCOT's World Showcase features holiday traditions around the world such as Mariachi music in Mexico, La Befana in Italy, and the Daruma doll in Japan. Strolling around the world, you have an opportunity to learn about holiday traditions your family may not celebrate each year and appreciate classic holiday cuisine (because we all know food brings us all together). The smoked salmon Latke near the Hanukkah storyteller was one of the best things I've had this holiday season!
