Guess what?
The Total Solar Eclipse is going to be happening 2 months from today, here in Arkansas! ☀️🤩 This will truly be a once in a lifetime event.
Our cabin is in a great location to witness this awesome event, and is available to book for this date as well. 🙂

On April 8th, 2024, a total solar eclipse will occur. Daylight will turn to darkness in the early afternoon.
There will be an enormous amount of hype around this event, for good reason.

Hello everyone!

I’m proud to say, we have done it again for the 8th consecutive time! 😊 Not only is being a “Superhost” important to us, but being great hosts to our guests, is even more important. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU, to all of our WONDERFUL guests!! ❤️

We truly take A LOT of pride, and joy in providing an excellent place to stay for our wonderful guests. There has also been A LOT of blood, sweat, and tears poured in there as well.
Our guests being able to make great memories, being able to explore, getting to relax, and enjoy their stay is important to us. There is soo much beauty all around us, and soo much to explore, experience, and see. We hope to accommodate you soon! 😊 I don’t think you will be disappointed at all, so check us out, and don’t forget to read our reviews.

One last thing- this weekend is NWA craft fair weekend, and our cabin is still available to book. War Eagle Craft Fair is October 19-22, and is only 25 minutes away from our cabin. There are many other craft fairs in the surrounding areas as well.
Or maybe you would just like a weekend of a little R&R, and we can also accommodate that. 😊

As beautiful as it already is, we’ve been working really hard to improve the property here at the Lost 40. Timber stand improvement, old field management, and eradication of invasive non-native plants, and trees. This effort is to reestablish native ecosystems of woodlands, forests, and prairies that historically dominated the landscape here in our beautiful Ozark Mountains. It is beneficial to all wildlife, including us humans, and we love our land and our wildlife that live on it. We would love to share it with you, so come check it out, we know you won’t be disappointed! 😊

Are you looking for something different or something in particular to do? The Lost 40 Getaway Cabin is only about 40 minutes away from Eureka Springs. The month of February is full of many different events in Eureka, or maybe you just need to rest and relax- we offer that as well. 😉

We hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas, and has a happy and healthy New Year! We had a wonderful Christmas spent with our families. I’m a little late posting pictures of the cabin decorated for Christmas, but wanted to share.

We had a nice family from Louisiana stay at the cabin for a week during Christmas, and they really enjoyed their stay. I LOVE it when our guests enjoy it as much as we do. 🥰

This year has started great, we are “Superhosts” again, for the 6th straight time. I’m extremely proud of us, and extremely thankful for all of our wonderful guests we have had, and that have helped make this happen! We work very hard to keep our guests happy, and we truly enjoy and take pride in hosting our guests.

On each assessment date, Airbnb will check whether you've met all the Superhost criteria for the previous 12 months. If you meet the criteria, you'll earn or keep your Superhost status until the next assessment.

We had a cancellation for next weekend, October 14th-16th. Next week, October 11th-16th is craft fair week.
