We just had a group of 6 MTB guests stay with us at MC5. They came to race at the US Pro Cup cup in Fayetteville at Centennial Park. But they stayed with us to enjoy the Rogers' Arkansas MTB scene and to tap into our bike garage with work bench and stand, bike wash, grill, fire pit, record player and more. We sure hope Chris and his clan had fun and did well at the races!

WOZ - The Women of OZ bicycling organization is hosting a Sunset Summit this September from the 15th-17th, 2023. This event is the main fund raising event for year. Here is what WOZ have to say about the event: "Our mission at Women of OZ is to break down barriers for women in cycling. One of the biggest hurdles is education, so we’re bringing together the top industry leaders and best coaches in the world for Sunset Summit – a weekend of rides, clinics, workshops, and discussions to build confidence and community. The weekend’s fundraising efforts go to support our programming throughout the year-to get more women on bikes and in turn help women find their community." CAVERNOUS - War eagle cavern isn't far from MC5getaway vacation rental. There you will explore some of the most amazing subterranean architecture that nature has ever produced. And what's more… you get to escape the heat of the Ozarks while enjoying some natural air conditioning!

You will walk straight into a mountain through a huge natural entrance on the shores of Beaver Lake. The friendly, story-telling guides make for great fun on a one-hour long adventure into the depths of the cavern! After the tour, you can feed the fish at the boat dock on Beaver Lake, explore some short nature trails, enjoy scenic lookouts along the bluff lines, and play in the "Big Dig". The family can pan for real gems at the War Eagle Mining Co. where you get to keep everything you find! You can even search for five lost Indian villages in the Lost in the Woods Maze - then find your way OUT! And there is the Moonshiners' Mystery Shack which is a blast to walk through. War Eagle Cavern is open 7 days a week with the last tour of the day 1 hour before closing.

CRAFTSMANSHIP - Hand painted pin-stripes embellish each of the kitchen cabinets at MC5. It was time consuming, but I painted each line one by one. Use this loop to get to the Rogers Activity Center, Regional Sports Park, NWACC, the Promenade, Rogers High School, and of course the Railyard Bike Park and all the happenings Downtown. Plus, you can hop on War Eagle trail, directly in front of MC5 getaway vacation rental , and connect to the Railyard Loop within a few blocks!
