The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL)’s Wage and Hour Division (WHD) has issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) that could eliminate the Section 14(c) program under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

This program is critical for providing employment opportunities to thousands of individuals with significant disabilities across the nation—individuals who may struggle to find meaningful work in competitive environments.

At Inroads to Opportunities, we work tirelessly to create a safe and supportive space where individuals with disabilities can thrive, with the encouragement of their families and caregivers, through this vital training option.

If this program is eliminated, it would jeopardize opportunities for our most vulnerable population. We urge you to join us in taking action to !
