I’ve been to Cozumel a few times and wanted to try something different. We took Cozumel island tour that included a stop at the Mayan Bee Sanctuary. These little stingless bees are so cool. If you want to learn more look up Pati’s Mexican Table: The Nectar of the Mayan Gods.

Last day at SENZA Hotel. It was a little chilly this morning so we turned on the fireplace for ambiance and heat. I looked outside to enjoy the view one last time and found a beautiful rainbow. We headed out to Slanted Door Napa for my favorite cellophane noodles with crab dish along with some other deliciousness. A great way to walk off a full belly is to head over to Oxbow Public Market. There are so many fun stores inside. We tasted a couple of drinks at Napa Valley Distillery and bought some cheese to take home from Oxbow Cheese & Wine Merchant. No trip for me would be complete without a stop at model bakery for english muffins to take home. If you are looking for a Napa getaway and want a custom itinerary I’m here for you!

Napa day two. After complimentary breakfast at SENZA Hotel I walked around the grounds. They have fire pits and co****le for guests to enjoy. We then headed out to Tra Vigne Restaurant for my favorite dish mozzarella al minuto. With food in our stomachs we headed north to Venge Vineyards for a lovely wine tasting with a view. After relaxing a bit at the hotel we headed out for a special Valentine’s Day dinner at PRESS Restaurant. Ten courses later we left with full bellies. Great day in Napa valley. We are staying at SENZA Hotel in this spacious room with great views. Had lunch at one of our favorite restaurants R+D Kitchen Yountville. We walked around Yountville and picked up some treats from Kollar Chocolates and Bouchon Bakery. We then drove along the Silverado trail for wine tasting at Darioush Winery - Napa Valley and picked up a nice bottle to bring home. We walked around downtown Napa and found a great place to sit for a stick and a dram Napa Ci**rs. Dinner was at Don Pericos Mexican Restaurant in downtown. Dan can’t resist a wet burrito and I love rolled tacos. I ended the night in this fabulous bathtub with a nice glass of Merlot. Cheers!

Congrats to the AFT Explorers headed to Costa Rica for their annual family trip today. This family picks a new destination every year. What great memories they are making.
