We are PLEASED to announce that as of February 1st, 2023 we will be back open for rental business. We would like you to keep in mind that the island was hit with a nearly Category 5 storm. There are parts that are still under construction, or various stages of improvement or stalled. We are ALL battling insurance companies. Owners are exhausted, but are slowly welcoming people back. While I was there last week I saw plenty of guests on the beach. Things will take time to get back to "normal" but the island and her residents are healing. The most important thing is that all guests should respect the full time residents on the island. This isn't vacation for them, it's their home. They love it just as much as you do. They are super exhausted and are due the respect anyone in their shoes deserves. So if you plan on visiting the island, please spread love and kindness and maybe reach out a helping hand. Lord knows we all need it. As for Driftwood, there are many exciting things coming in the next year. We're hoping to post pictures of what our plans are for this gem. New windows, new siding, changes to the interior. Over the next few months to a year, hopefully we take this place into a bright new future. We love all our guests and can't wait to welcome you all back in with open arms.
