🌿 A New Chapter 🌿
Today, I share a bittersweet update: after much reflection, I’ve made the decision to close the brick-and-mortar shop in Round Lake. The choice wasn’t easy, but it feels right. My heart is calling me toward what matters most—time with family and friends and rekindling my creativity in new ways.
This journey has been filled with amazing people and a whole lot of fun memories. Thank you to all who have supported us, shopped with us, and cheered us on. Your encouragement has meant the world.
While the shop will close after this week-end, I’m excited to share that I’ll still have a booth at Maker’s Exchange in Tea, so you can find a bit of ReFab there! The adventure isn’t over; it’s just evolving.

Here’s to new beginnings, family, and creativity. 🌻

Hello, I am Barb and I am a furniture hoarder! My basement is full, my she shed is full and I am constantly updating and making old things new again. I am not happy unless I am creating. Whether it is painting furniture or crafting decor, I create SOMETHING most days.

I am an elementary school special education teacher in my day job and by nature want to help others succeed. That is how ReFab Boutique was born. I love having an outlet for my pieces and being able to help other creatives share their talents through a monthly boutique. I am blessed with an amazing husband who supports my obsession (yes, it is beyond a hobby at this point) and who helps me with projects when I get myself in over my head. I am also blessed to have wonderful friends who help out at the boutique each month.
