Our Story
MBA Executive & Vacation Rentals exists for two reasons. I wanted to bring my aging mother from out of state, to live with us, when my Father passed, but she was having problems with her legs, and was not able to access the upstairs bedrooms as easily as she would like. So, I thought that we could just move to a smaller home with no stairs, while keeping this one since it was during a time when the property values had dropped substantially. Whenever my mother would come to stay with me, for awhile, this is the room that she spent most of her time in, where she prayed, watched her soaps, read her bible, conversed with me, and slept. She loved the entire layout of the house, but this was by far, her favorite room. I grew up with 12 other siblings and a host of nieces and nephews. Our childhood home was only 4 bedrooms, or 3 bedrooms and a den, so the holidays were always interesting. We thought that it was fun to make pallets on the floor and stay up late with numerous cousins and other family members. There were many repetitive debates and conversations in that house, but as we got older we understood that the repetitive conversations were the workings of a family that wanted to figure things out and try to do them better. We soon learned that with so many personalities, it would be impossible to all be on the same page, so we became content with knowing that we were a lot closer than we ever thought that we were. There was a lot of love in that house, and our parents would not have it any other way. Subliminally, I always wanted to own a hotel or some type of B&B, where a large number of family members could all be under one roof together, and where I could make their accommodations more affordable. Then one day, I learned that companies rent homes for their executives, while they are working on projects in other cities. That information sparked the idea of a vacation rental for executives as well as traveling families. We have put extensive time and thought into ensuring that you have a pleasant stay and that you will have everything that you need while staying.
