Caesar Salad is one salad I can get even Jason to eat. He typically avoids all things green. Here is a great recipe for a delicious low fat, low carb Caesar dressing that is super simple to make. This was always one of my all time favorites when I was training. You can use it on salad, or to season your chicken, tuna, etc. Nathan loves it too. It gives great flavor in a small servings, has 400mg of omegas per serving, and only 1g of sugar.

Ok so today I worked multiple jobs, got Nathan’s skates sharpened on my lunch, ran to the grocery store and post office on my way to the rink where I sat watching my son at one of three camps he is doing all summer from 5-7. Now he is off the ice and hungry. Do I feel like cooking? NO! So what can I throw together fast and still make healthy choices. This meal took me under 15 minutes to make and required no real cooking aside from pushing a few buttons on my microwave. The secret is to have emergency items in your fridge at home you can throw together fast. 1- a Rotisserie chicken. You can get a giant one at Costco for $5 (every grocery store has them too), 2- frozen veggies whatever kind you want, 3 - a steamable bag of red potatoes, sweet potatoes, or rice for those in your home eating carbs at dinner like my son who just skated for two hours. As you can see I have it plated two ways - one with carb and one without carb. This does not have to be complicated unless you make it complicated. Be realistic about your life and the time you have and always have a backup plan waiting in the fridge.

SO GOOD!!!! ***FYI If you are watching your carbs this may not be the choice for you.

4 cups of Brown Rice Krispies, 1/2 cup honey, 1/2 cup pb or almond butter, 1/2 cup AdvoCare Chocolate Muscle Gain protein powder. Mix everything together in a bowl with a spatula. Once everything is evenly mixed form the mixture into balls and place on a cookie sheet covered in wax paper. Put in the freezer for 30 minutes to set. Store in the refrigerator to keep firm.

Cookie Dough Protein Bars

Ingredients:
-2 scoops AdvoCare Muscle Gain Vanilla
-2 tbsp coconut flour
-2 tbsp almond butter
-1 tbsp coconut oil
-1/2 tbsp coconut nectar
~3 tbsp almond milk
-2 tbsp dark chocolate chips
Directions:
1. Mix together all ingredients (excluding chocolate chips), and slowly add in almond milk until cookie dough consistency.
2. Stir in chocolate chips.
3. Press mixture into part of an 8×8 pan to desired thickness.
4. Freeze until solidified. Cut into bars and enjoy!

Meal replacement shake waffles:
6 tbsp egg whites, 1 tbsp water, mix with 1 envelope vanilla MRS & cook in waffle maker. Top with homemade strawberry syrup {strawberries w small amount of water heated up on stovetop}. Yum!!!

Here is another yummy snack to try Muscle Gain Protein Cookies.
1 cup muscle gain vanilla or chocolate (You can also use meal replacement shakes 2 packets of your favorite flavor)
1 cup oats
1 cup peanut butter
1/2 honey
Mix ingredients together in a bowl, roll into balls and press down with a fork. I use parchment paper to line the cookie sheet, so they don't stick. Then chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Enjoy! 😋

Let’s accept that life has no pause button — that there's never a magical "right time" to begin something.

Do you know what's better than pressing pause and doing nothing? Doing something!

The 'all or nothing' mentality rarely gets us 'all'. It usually gets us nothing.

Think of your fitness and nutrition efforts as a dial. Instead of pressing pause, simply adjust the dial.

There are times when you may want to dial your efforts up, and times when you want to dial them down. But never turn the dial off completely.

There’s a big difference between tuning your dial to 3, 2, or even a 1, and turning the whole thing off.

And when you realize how doable — and effective — channels 3 and 2 and 1 can be, you see that there’s never a good reason to hit “pause”.
