She hiked the West Highland Way in Scotland with her family and loves the views from Conic Hill, a breathtaking peak offering views of islands perched on tectonic plates, marking the dramatic divide between Scotland's lowlands and highlands.

She also loved visiting the Highland Getaway with its bar full of locals and family-owned charm.

The Álftavatn Hut along Iceland's Laugavegur Trail is surrounded by mountains and rests on the shores of Lake Álftavatn.
