Cree is changing up our Tuesday night menu! Trust me when I say, we love Mexican food more than most. We also love BBQ! Starting this week, Tuesday night is BBQuesday now. We hope you’ll join us and let us know what you think about Chef Randy’s BBQ.

Just announced! We know you’ve all been asking… Bonito Lake is officially REOPENING at sunrise Friday, August 30th for fishing only.

We are so excited to have this beautiful area open to the public again and know many of you feel similarly.

Please remember the lake is currently only open for fishing. All City of Alamogordo properties along the Rio Bonito and around Bonito Lake remain closed for any recreational activities at this time.

The area has undergone restoration efforts since 2012 when the Little Bear fire and monsoon rains washed debris and gravel into the lake.

Today is National Wildland Firefighter Day. Designed to honor and recognize the hard work and devotion of wildland firefighters and support personnel, it's a timely day of recognition for us in Ruidoso.

Thank you is not enough for these men and women today. We appreciate your hard work and thank you for how you have given so much to save lives, property, and our mountain paradise.

Thanks to the firefighters, dispatchers, map creators, IT specialists, equipment operators, radio technicians, prevention specialists, and everyone else who has a role in getting the job done and protecting our community in times of crisis.

There are no other words. . .

We are thankful for the fire crews working tirelessly to protect our village as the South Fork Fire and Salt Fire are currently burning in and around Ruidoso. Please keep the first responders and our entire community in your prayers.

An incident webpage has been set up for continuous updates at www.ruidoso-nm.gov/south-fork-fire. The Village of Ruidoso page is also providing live updates and evacuation notices. Please tune into 1490 AM for more information.

If you need information or assistance, please call the EOC, which has been moved back to Fire Station 1. The new phone number is 202-794-5044.

This is a sad fact, but we salute the safety measures that the Apache admin are taking to get their grounds rehabbed and back open for their visitors 🙏

Good Morning! We salute all of the Brave Men and Women battling the Blue Fires. In an effort to give the first responders all of the room needed to work and for the safety of our guests, we must delay our summer opening at this time. Please avoid traveling up Ski Run road. Please still make the trip to Inn of the Mountain Gods, they will have numerous fully operational outdoor amenities for visitors and is ready for summer activities. Guests can forge new memories horseback riding, paddle boating, kayaking, fishing or soaring over Lake Mescalero on a zip line at 50 miles
per hour. Keep an eye out here and our website for Ski Apache’s new targeted opening date soon!
