Peak times!
It's that time of year again, so let's talk about foliage.
This is a rough estimate of when our foliage peaks on average. Things are already starting to pop up north, so I am thinking this will be fairly accurate this year, possibly a little on the early side. The colder mornings are telling the trees it is time. We also have some isolated areas around eastern Maine and central New Hampshire that while they are not experiencing drought conditions, some areas of trees have been looking like they are experiencing drought stress, which is causing their leaves to turn weeks early.
Don't forget to check out the Hampton Beach Seafood Festival going on through Sunday. I am busy today and tomorrow, so I am going to try and visit early on Sunday.
