Janet Crammer shared this website,http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/woodpecker/woodpecker.html. Its a bit technical, but has some interesting information about the woodpecker's tongue. I have a flicker skull and you can see the groove for the tongue across the top of the skull.

A number of creationists have touted the woodpecker as an example of an organism which 'could not have evolved.' This page shows that they are wrong.
