We all know we have some of the best food in Western Iowa and if you've been following the Burgers and Backroads - Western Iowa or even the T Bone Trail Western Iowa in the past couple of years, you'll see some of the best. Now Dunlap has just been selected as the Best Tenderloin in Iowa. What a great honor! If you haven't traveled Western Iowa to eat the great tenderloins, set that up as a mission. Make sure to stop in Dunlap and enjoy one of the many thousands of tenderloins they sell each year.

The Glenn Miller Birthplace Society & Museum will be open during Clarinda’s 69th Annual Band Jamboree from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with free admission! Take this opportunity to visit and learn about the life and legacy of Glenn Miller.

Sometimes I get the biggest craving for a classic diner style burger loaded with cheese and topped with crisp lettuce, fresh slices of tomatoes and onion while being served pipping hot off the griddle. This Triple Cheeseburger from the Hwy 7 Cafe in Fonda, Iowa is exactly what I’m talking about!
