With two trips at 11 am and 12:45 pm on August 19th, there is no better way to take a short break from River Jam. Interested in booking a private cruise for up to 36 individuals or a memorial ash scattering? Did you know you can do it quickly and easily directly on our website?! www.captainjohnscharters.com under the tab reservations.

Simply click the BOOK button on either private charter or ash scattering then you’ll see a calendar pop up where you can select the date and an open time slot that you’d like to request a reservation for. Once completed it will email our admin and she will approve the booking! You’ll be asked to put down a 50% deposit once the requested date/time is approved. (We do have step by step instructions listed above the booking calendar at all times)

Looking for a unique, affordable, & memorable way of privately honoring a deceased loved one?

Just like other funeral services a burial at sea can be tailored to meet the specific needs and requests of family members and friends of the loved one being honored. We charter the boat out to a secluded area where we relax on the open waters. Some families in the past have shared memories, given a toast then spread their beloved ones ashes into the ocean with a biodegradable water urn. We have an enclosed cabin with space to set up memorial flowers, photos, food and drinks. We have aux input to stream music of your choice.
