Chol Hamoed Pesach - got a call to fly this young professional Jew to Orange County, CA who describes himself as “not-religious”. In typical Chabad fashion, we took this as an opportunity for and reach a fellow Jew during the festival where we celebrate our freedom! So I had my wife put together a Pesach goodie bag for this young man to enjoy on his flight, and I threw in a kippah for him as a keepsake (which has the logo of the company we fly for). He put the kippah on before we took off and kept it on! His father picked him up at the airport and was excited share the matzah and the goodie bag we had packed with him.

How do we defeat the darkness in the world? Surely we don’t fight darkness, all we need to do is turn the lights on. Let’s all turn the lights up by lifting up our fellow Jews, regardless of their level of observance, that we may be a stronger Klal Yisrael than ever before! Be a lamplighter!

Spent this morning at the Embry Riddle University High Altitude Laboratory - in a room that simulated the oxygen level at 30,000 ft - demonstrating that beards do not affect the effectiveness of oxygen masks and are not a safety risk.
