Meet native Director Jack Kohler: Gift Of Fear
Jack Kohler is a member of the Hoopa Valley Tribe. and Executive Producer of the non-Profit Media Organization 'On Native Ground.' He co-produced two award-winning, nationwide PBS programs, "California's Lost Tribes", and "River of Renewal", which also won Best Documentary Feature in two film festivals .
His new dramatic feature is Gift of Fear, about a native girl, Milli, who watched in horror as her mother was murdered 11 years ago, becoming another Missing and Murdered Indigenous statistic. Now 17, Mili is embroiled in another crime…She waited for police once...she won’t wait this time.
