Have you done a cruise during the holidays ? This weekend I’m on a bday celebration cruise 🚢 with my daughter and some of her besties !
First rule always arrive a day earlier before boarding to rest chill and get settled . You don’t want to get delayed by flights or anything .
We arrived in Long Beach the day before and left Fri morning for the port !
Another tip - download the cruise app and check in asap . We got 10 am check in. We arrived at the port building at 10:05 walked right in got our documents verified and took bon voyage photos ! Very smooth process !
Tip- print out your boarding passes if you are on Carnival as you show it four times before boarding . The ship started boarding around 10:45 am and we were on the boat by 11:05 am.
We were able to go directly to the muster station get checked off and head to eat!
We has a great lunch at Guys 🍔 burgers! We also went to Pig and Anchor which was only open embarkation day .
We went to our cabins at 1:15 pm and got settled !
Great first day !
