Not sure what happened, but we got a bunch of "new likes" overnight. = Thank you! Actually had a couple of tour inquiries yesterday, which makes me happy! Got a new computer with video editing capabilities. I am eager to get caught up on two years of backlog. It will take a very long time. Each minute of video takes me about one hour to edit! Those that know, I am technologically challenged! Here is an old one from the archives. It is actually the first video I ever made. Tanks and I on the "dam trip", the day after Thanksgiving. NOW we have two dogs, so I really need one more dog lover to help! Hopefully my son will want to go and carry on the tradition!

Tours REALLY dropped off ion November, which is disappointing. Especially since the weather has been so mild. Finally got a call for a trip on Thursday, and the weather is crap. My first video edit on the new computer. Captured yesterday on a low water recon mission. The learning curve is steep with the new program and will take MANY hours to figure out. The mouth of Spaulding Drain in "slow mo". Enjoy the day! RAAAAAAAAAARRRRR!!!!

Possible recon mission this coming Tuesday. Unfavorable wind will blow the water out = I/we will do a a lot of learning. Paddling and pushing will probably be involved. Room for one, maybe two people. Noonish to five Ish or so. Message if interested.

Went to visit our son in Allantown yesterday. Been wanting to do the Grand River for a while now, yesterday solidified that! If you are familiar with the piece of water from Johnson Park to Lake Michigan, please chime in and let us know of the hazards. I’m relatively confident that I should be able to hit everything out there at least twice!-lol

It's Throw Back Thursday! Today it is only fitting to share some crappy images of the "boom area" exposed. These were captured many years ago in November with a pocket 110 camera, on a brutal day! The wind was 30, gusting to 50 MPH. I did EVERYTHING I could to talk my guests out of going. I am humbled by what we saw that day which is normally hidden beneath the surface of the water! RAAAAARRRR!!!

It would be a dramatic day out in the swamp today. 78 degrees, and the wind blowing the already low water out into the bay. Sadly, we are not booked, so I will have to go to "Plan B" for bike! The dirt will be premium after the rain, and the leaves will be falling like rain. "V' is pictured, he is my chaperon. He calls 911 if I have a problem!-lol Enjoy the day!
