We first met Jonathan 20 years ago during his stay at Green Valley Spa, where we did several days of mountain biking.

Southern Utah made an impression on him, and this week he returned for 3 more days of riding in the awesome fall weather we have been having. We hope we dont have to wait another 20 years to have him return, many more trails to ride...

P2: Left side of roof on crimps them rising right reachy traverse to anchor. 9 bolts 70’
P3: Edges and crimps towards bottom of arch, balancey move to gain black varnish jugs. Traverse up and left to anchor on spacious ledge 10 bolts 80’
P4: Steep face of crimps and slopers to vegetated ledges and rising traverse to anchor in corner. 11 bolts 100’
P5: Thin face of edges and crimps to pockets and roof, right traverse to anchor. 16 bolts 85’
P6: Rising left traverse to huge hueco, then right up bulge on edges, jugs and concretions to anchor on summit.

Decent: 6 rappels with 70 meter rope.

What could be a better gift than an experience? "Santa Claus" brought Kevin a Utah mountain bike tour for Christmas. It was an awesome day for a ride in the desert, and we beat the rain by about 20 minutes.

We are always grateful for the year-round amazing riding that we have in Southwestern Utah. While the rest of the country is in a deep freeze, we are riding in shorts. Winter is often the best time of year to ride many of the trails here in St. George.
