We had a beautiful snow covered winter in 2013…it took over a month for all of it to melt! ❄️☃️ Hoping for a little bit of cold and moisture this winter…but these sunny Southern Utah days sure are nice!

Happy Saturday! ❤️We are half way through December but it still feels like fall in St. George. It’s the perfect time of year to be outside hiking and exploring this amazing place! ✨ Inside we’ve got just a touch of Christmas to remind us winter might be on the way. ❄️☃️

🖤I don’t know about you, but a good nights sleep helps me appreciate brighter days! And with blackout curtains throughout sleeping areas, you can sleep long, even during the brightest of days at Hope Hill Home!

❤️There’s something special about our trees and yard. With plenty of room to hang out with your favorite people and pups, you get a sense of being nature…in the heart of the city.

🌳We have plans to add a few more pomegranates and an herb garden and some more flowers once the temps cool down a bit. And that hammock, fire-pit, paradise I posted about a while back. 😊

❤️Welcome home!

The ducks on the front porch were my grandmas…I remember playing with them when I was a little girl at her house in Veyo. They’ve been on Hope Hill for a long time and now they greet our guests at the front door. 🐥

🌿Happy Friday! Here’s a quick tour of the private 3/4 bathroom off the master bedroom…

🪴We remodeled the tile a couple years ago and the tile setter did an AMAZING job on this shower…it’s honestly so perfect and makes me so happy every time I go in that bathroom. ☺️

🌱We plan on replacing the vanity soon but love the storage space and functionality of this one. We also debated (i.e. argued 😂) about offering travel size toiletries. I love them and made the executive decision to provide them. ❤️

🏡 Our first guests are checked in and everything has been going well so far! Here’s to the weekend and hurricane Hillary and desert storms! 🍻

🪴I love how the living room came together! Seating for 6-7 and sleeping for 2. 55” smart TV, patio access, front porch views…it’s pretty dreamy. ❤️

🌿I debated about buying new curtains, but the dark ones in the last picture didn’t cover the sliding door all the way and they were two panels on each side so kind of a pain to open and close. The lighter ones open the room up quite a bit but still room darkening when closed and they’re each 100” wide so they cover the windows completely.

✨I love that they put these huge windows in the living room when they built the house back in 1950! 🥰 Well it was two windows originally…we put the 8’ sliding door in back in 2014 and it’s made all the difference…that was quite the project on these solid brick walls! But so worth it! When you’re sitting in the corner of the couch at night you can look up at the “D” and all the pretty lights on the black hill and in good weather it’s so nice to leave the screen door open and listen to the birds sing.
