TRAILS OPEN FRIDAY!! ❄️

Woo-hoo! Vilas County trails to open tomorrow-Friday, Jan 17th.
PLEASE heed the warnings. Trails are in very early season condition. Watch your speed, stay to the right and respect all landowners. Stay on the trail!
Note - Grooming operations will be at a minimum to preserve the little snow we have. We have been panning to form the best base possible.

Here are some snow reports from across the viewing area over the past couple of days. Higher totals fell across the Northwoods with lower totals in our central and southern counties.

The snowmobile trails may not be open yet, but the lakes have ICE ICE baby! We were up over new years and found most lakes to have 8”+ and current fishing reports state 13”+ on some. Ice fishing season is here and we’re ready to host you!

Christmas came early for The Antler Inn, we bought a second property in St Germain! Don’t worry, The Antler Inn isn’t going anywhere. This new cabin will take some time to renovate, but we will be taking Summer 2025 reservations come spring! What should we name her?! 🏡🔑
