Deer Run #2 “Ballypines Cabin”. Looking for an “Up North Vacation?” This updated, charming true Northwoods lodge was built in 1907 (one of the oldest buildings in St Germain). Located in the shared resort known as Deer Run Resort on the eastern shore of stunning Big Saint Germain Lake. Enjoy the majestic sunsets from the deck amidst the towering pine trees. The view from this cabin is the attraction. The smell of pine is in the air, a loon calls from across the lake, an owl hoots, mommy ducks tending to their young, deer pass several times a day and an eagle swoops down in the lake for a fish. Big St. Germain Lake is over 1625 acres with access to Lake Content and Fawn Lake. Big St. Germain offers uncrowded boating, fishing, swimming and cruising.
