Due to a couple of cancellations, including a guest that had an entire month of booked, we now have some availability in July and August. We are located in St. Germain on Lost Lake 30' from the lake on level sandy frontage. We generally rent Fri-Fri and below are dates that we have available. All bookings are via VRBO.

July 8 - 19, Aug 2 - 9, Aug 9 - 16, Aug 16 - 23, Aug 23 - Aug 30.

Vilas county is home to a premier set of bike trails for all levels. From paved to single track mountain bike we have it all and they just keep getting better. Our favorites are WinMan Trails and Fern Ridge Trail in addition to Heart of Vilas County Bike Trail

Snowmobile trails in Vilas county are open and in the best early riding conditions in quite a few years.

Best place to eat breakfast in St Germain? Hands down it has to be The Wolf Pack Cafe they have great food and service. Extra good are the pancakes and blackened perch!

If you haven’t tried a quality fishing guide in the Northwoods put it on your list for your next trip. Two individuals we recommend are
Rob Manthei's Fishing and Outdoor Page who also owns Fibber's Bar and Restaurant on Big St Germain along with Jeff Van Remortel - WDH Guide Service. Both of these guys are top notch and will put you on fish and help you learn. Book early as they fill up many months in advance.

Congrats to all the anglers from this last weekend! Lost Lake continues to produce and second and third place fish came from Lost Lake being a 45” and 44.5” fish.

Fall is a great time to get up north when it is a little cooler and less busy. Great colors to be seen on all the bike trails. We have excellent paved bike trails and if you haven’t been to WinMan Trails to do some mountain biking you are missing out on some of the best machine built trails in WI.
