Full bath with shower and laundry facilities, stone fireplace and TV in the living room, and a fully equipped kitchen complete with stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. A large sun room overlooks the lake and provides guests with a panoramic view and front row seats for each evening's sunset. Outside, enjoy the picnic table, fire pit, and great shallow swimming with 100 feet of sandy shore and nice sandy bottom, perfect for young children. Brevort Lake provides you with some of the best fishing in the UP including walleye, bass, perch, Northern pike, pan fish, and trophy-sized musky. A canoe is available for a relaxing trip along the shoreline, and the public boat launch is a short walk away. Close to the Lake Michigan beaches, Tahquamenon Falls, Mackinac Island, and many attractions within an hour's drive. At the cabin itself, guests can enjoy water sports, fishing, bicycling, and hiking trails through the forests. Winter provides easy access to the Northland snowmobile trail system. Directions: From the Mackinac Bridge, take I-75 north eight miles to the Newberry/Moran exit (M-123), turn left and follow M-123 approximately 5 miles, turn left at the gas Station (Dukes Road) and follow it to the lake (2 miles), turn right, and the Captain’s Cabin is the first place on the left.
