Fall is amazingly beautiful in the U.P. Mackinac Island is the best in the Fall. We decided to open up the dates we had booked off for the fundraiser. Love lilacs? We sure do. Book Bayview now for next Spring. Our two100 year old lilacs are blooming. Our beach lilacs are blooming. We planted so many more lilacs. Just bought 2 on Mackinac Island. A blue lilac and a wine colored lilac. In a few years they will be full also.

We are looking to add a part-time position to our Chamber team for the season.

We love St. Ignace and the UP and want those visiting us to fall in love, too!
It is fun. It is not a fast-paced environment or stressful.
If you enjoy chatting with people and learning fun historical facts, this is the place for you!
Personally, my favorite part is the people. I have met people coming here for their first time and some that return every year, some even returning here as adults after visiting when they were children. I like listening to their stories and I love being able to give the recommendation to go do or see something they may not have ever known about.
If you are creative, you get to use those skills here from either writing an article to post on social media or maybe you use your skills to create a flyer or video. There are so many opportunities to be creative.
You have a great view! We have an unobstructed view of the bay and the island. Some days the water looks gray and angry while other days it is a beautiful, calm teal green.

Extra perks....
We are pet-friendly! The visitors of the fur kind visit us and we love meeting them. And occasionally our furbabies come with us to work.
We love coffee and we have 2 o'clock coffee time. If you prefer tea, we have that, too!
We love food! At least twice a month we have lunch either provided or we go out. Not to say we do not order often.
We have chocolate!

This is now my 3rd season and I am excited. A lot is going on this season. Come join us if you are looking for a very part-time stress-free job for extra spending money!

Our short term guest will be leaving February 1st. Bayview is available for short term rental from February 1st till mid May 2024. Vacation rental will resume Memorial weekend forward. You never know what your view will look like.
