Amanda and Bryan came to Pine Island for a few days.
They caught a bunch of fish, killed some Iguana’s visited the local bars ate some great local food and had a memorable time

No water and a hard northeast wind had them off the bite today, but Fred and Steve worked hard and landed a bunch of fish on flies and bait.

An absolute stellar morning in Pine Island sound. We were well into double figures by 10 AM with some nice trout, plenty of other fish and roses personal best snook on a fly!
It was a great three days thank you so much, safe travels home and I will talk to you both soon.

Andy and Rose are back on the island for their annual trip with me. It was a beautiful day and the fish were eating Roses beautifully tied flies.

Strong Northeast winds and low low low water greeted us this morning. The bait came hard but I got enough for the trip. These two boys Harrison and Colton and their Dad Heath put a serious hurting on a pile of fish. They just got done tagging out on Osceola turkeys and they came down here and beat up the fish on Pine Island, it was a banner day.

The rain and the big winds did not stop the Sumpton family from Minnesota from having a great fishing trip today.
For two mornings we pulled on Fish from the beginning to the end.
Thank you very much guys glad your team beat the Yankees in the spring training game and enjoy the rest of your stay.

The fly bite was crazy today from beginning to end. Big trout, more snook than we could count and plenty of other fish to go around.

Some photos from the last few trips the water continues to warm and the fishing continues to improve it may not be real pretty down here with all the remnants of hurricane Ian but the bite has been incredible.

Finally got Shelley out on the water for a few hours today and while the true Giants eluded us once again she did bring a few dozen nice snook over the rail. Add to that a nice red for dinner and some trout and snapper and it was a good outing.

Bob and Greg were back today for their annual trip. What they experienced was by far my best day of the 2024 season. The water warmed up to 72° the tide was perfect once it got started, the slime was at a minimum “lucky us” I had plenty of bait, the fish were hungry and the bite was on fire! 
Snook, reds , trout, Jacks, ladyfish, snapper and one flounder!

Steve and Carol has so much fun a week ago they booked another day and brought along their friend Jim. After dealing with the heavy slime and a couple of slow spots we found the pot of gold and it was every cast!

Carol and Steve had a great day fishing with me today. Trout and snapper for dinner one red and a whole bunch of snook the weather was beautiful and they had a blast thank you again.

George and Steve beat them up bad today. The big wind was special but we found a few places to tuck in and hide and the fish were chewing pretty good.
