Carswell Lake Outfitters LTD
Well our first Moose-Bear Combo hunt is in the books!
And what a first!
Todd took an absolute Giant Black bear green scoring
21 10-16” P&Y that hit the scales at 460lbs.
Just a world class animal probably one of the largest shot in North America this year!
Then just last night he shot a Moose green scoring 136.5 P&Y!
So a B&C bear and a P&Y Moose!
Congratulations Todd what a week buddy!
And great job everyone at Carswell Lake Outfitters!
Sending home clients with trophies of a lifetime again and again!

Well the season is finally come to an end at Carswell Lake Outfitters!
The last two weeks had three hunters each.
All shot P&Y bears.
Four of the Six were 19-21”
Some great fishing also for the hunters!

Thanks to everyone at Carswell Lake Camps for all the hard work on another successful season!
All that hard work makes this the #1 black bear camp in North America year after year!!

53 total hunters
47 bears taken by those hunters.

Unfortunately 6 hunters wounded bears.

43 of the 47 were green score bears over 18” P&Y.

32 of those bears green scored 19-21”. That amazing!

4 bears under 18” were shot.
2 sows and 2 color boars

Camp Average was 19.2” P&Y!!!

Just an amazing place run by amazing people!!
Thanks to all the hunters!

Another great week at camp!
6 bears all P&Y!
With a cinnamon blonde scoring 19 4/16” being the most unique color bear so far this year.
Also had snow!
The latest the guys have ever seen snow at camp!
Crazy stuff!
New guys are now in camp with 2 giant bears already down.
I’ll post their success at the end of the week.

Well last week we had a group of ten hunters come to camp that included some young first time bear hunters.
And amazingly they all were finshed by day two!!
8 P&Y bears and three of those scoring over 20” P&Y
Congratulations to all!
So great to see young hunters in camp!

Well the main camp at Carswell Lake has established baits in the deep wilderness of Northern Saskatchewan and even tho the boys are busting into new areas with new baits the old baits are still home to the biggest black bears in North America.
The first green score B&C bear has fallen!
