Cool find by a friend!!!

This tiny Eocene epoch coprolite is remarkable because it preserves bite marks from an animal that started but didn’t finish eating it. This lovely specimen was found in Virginia and donated to the Calvert Marine Museum by Marco Gulotta. This unique coprolite was part of a much larger donation by Mr. Gulotta that included thousands of tiny coprolites from the same site.
