Wise Blue Yonder has lots of great adventures in store and we can’t wait to share them with you!

In the meantime, here’s a photo on a trip a few years ago to the Blue Mosque Istanbul, Turkey.

My favorite memory wasn’t the beauty of the Mosque but rather the beauty of something else.

I finished before my group and was sitting on a bench outside the Mosque. I needed to get my socks and shoes back on and have difficulty reaching my feet. A kind traveler from England asked “Would you like some help with your shoes?” Embarrassed, as usual, I said “Oh no, I’ll wait for my family”. He responded by saying “I’m a physio (physical therapist) and it looked like you could use a hand.” So two minutes later, my shoes and socks were on with the laces tied just right for my swollen and sensitive feet 👟👟

The moral of the story? Kindness is everywhere when you are willing to receive it.

Had a wonderful girls’ weekend exploring Gull Lake, Nisswa, MN Minnesota with friends! We stopped in Visit Little Falls MN for lunch at Johnny C's Sports Bar and enjoyed beer, cheese curds, nachos, burgers and all the Minnesotan bar food favs! Service was great, parking easy and curbs low - yay!

Then we picked up cookies at the FABULOUS Little Falls Bakery & Deli!

Off to Nisswa for shopping, pizza at Breezy Point and Dockside Restaurant Bar & Grill Group. (Handicap parking could use an upgrade!)

Then lounging and laughing at my friend’s cabin. I hope you all are as blessed as I am to have friends that eat junk food, laugh a lot, wholly share their unique selves, don’t think twice about helping me when I need it, and love without judgement. I am blessed 😇 ❤️👯🎄

My husband and I had a chance to see Invisible Fences, an eclectic musical in Duluth, MN at the Zeitgeist Cafe. It celebrates the beauty of people of all abilities in a fantastical and genuine way and entertaining way. Gaelynn Lea Music is Uber talented! Kling from NPR is authentic and real, showcasing acceptance and vulnerability.

Back in the Windy City for client meetings!

✈️ The MSP Airport has truly done a great job making the Minneapolis airport accessible- from chairs to golf carts to walkways to companion bathrooms - they take accessibility seriously!

Love the new Delta Sky Club - Minneapolis St Paul International Airport (MSP) at the end of the G concourse -it’s beautiful and spacious!

Got to enjoy a fabulous Italian meal at Mia Francesca in Wrigleyville with long-time friend Mary Pigatti Osberg ❤️. It’s all on one floor and restrooms are easy to get to. A wheelchair could fit but it would be really crowded.

People give Iowa grief but I’m here to say it’s GORGEOUS in the Fall! We explored the Quad Cities (Bettendorf and Davenport IA and Moline and Rock Island IL) this weekend. Most of it’s easy to navigate and full of great history, beautiful architecture and excellent food! (Full trip review coming soon!)

Day One - We stayed at the The Current Iowa in downtown Downtown Davenport, Iowa. Their skybar, skybar offers beautiful views of the Mississippi river and the food is great! We enjoyed a fabulous dinner at & Billy - highly recommend - go early, they don’t take reservations). Bonus! I saw my Aunt Dugan Goodrum!

We met up with my niece grussing and she showed us some of her favorite local spots, including gardens and ’s complaint department - super fun places in downtown !

We’re spending a long weekend in southern Iowa. First up - the University of Iowa to check out the college and mobility friendly hot spots! The campus is large and does have a lot of hills and concrete stairs but you can navigate it if you pay attention. The Graduate Hotel in Iowa City is in a great location for parents and grandparents who want a place that is close to restaurants, coffee shops and bars and easy to navigate. We enjoyed The Stuffed Olive for pre-dinner martinis and the sky top restaurant at the Hilton Garden Inn!

Day One in Denver was eclectic! We started with a trip to Meow Wolf, an immersive art museum where you “quantum time travel” - wonderfully weird! Then we went to Cherry Creek Mall, Denver for some birthday shopping for my daughter (Haul alert!). Finished the night at Venice Restaurante & Wine Bar at Denver Union Station! All accessible, all fun!
