I believe the greatest source of healing, change, and growth can be found within secure relationships. Unfortunately, it is also within the context of relationships that we can experience our greatest hurt and pain. Our connection and relationships with others, as well as ourselves, thrive when acceptance, freedom and authenticity abound. My passion as a clinician is to help others experience rela

tional wellness through secure connections and integrated authenticity. Through compassionate support, I provide the space for families, couples, kids and individuals to embark on their journey toward personal wellness and relational connection. I specialize in providing relational therapy services to families, couples and individuals. I have experience in working with adults, children and families who face transitions such as adoption, loss, and divorce, have experienced relational trauma, desire increased attachment, and seek to explore personal identity and spirituality. I utilize relational and attachment based therapy techniques, play therapy, experiential interventions, as well as insight and awareness to help clients experience their desired growth, change and healing. Please note: Connecting through social media does not in any way constitute the initiation of a professional relationship. Social media includes Facebook, Instagram, Google+, Linkedin, and email.

“If your church doesn’t address and mourn the murder of black and brown youth, they are not a community you should be investing your time and money in. Not saying something IS saying something.”

I’m Kendra Snyder, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and
one of the Co-Founders of the Reclamation Collective.

The several decades I spent in a high-control and high-demand
fundamentalist faith system, have impacted me in a multiple of deep
and profound ways. I was raised to believe that knowing myself,
having a connection to my intuition, and trusting my gut was
not only flawed, but inherently wrong.

Instead of building a strong and confident relationship with myself,
I was led to believe that true wisdom came only from external people
and places. I found myself feeling forced to look entirely outside of
myself for guidance, clarity, and for a sense of who I was supposed to be.

The pastors, mentors, teachers, and other charismatic leaders in my life
had complete authority, telling me what to think, believe, act, and especially
how to interact with myself. I developed immense self-hatred, shame, and
only knew how to doubt myself. This manifested into significant experiences
of anxiety, depression, and panic.

While my journey of deconstructing these harmful and untrue ideas has been
long, I am reclaiming what it means to trust myself, my body, and my intuition.
That is why I stand with everyone saying .
