We have aome bitterswet news to share...
Once upon a time, two friends had a vision to create a beautiful space, filled with beautiful things, that would draw out the inherent beauty in the people who experienced it. The friends made a promise to one another that the friendship and love that they shared must always be at the heart of the adventure. They agreed to keep this promise and then set about the work of making the dream come true.
The friends worked tirelessly, building, collecting, seeking, creating, dreaming, and slowly their vision came to life. It was more challenging than they had ever imagined, but even on the nights when they dropped to the floor with fatigue, their hearts were full and they would toast to the future, to their community, and to their friendship. Soon the friends were ready to tell people about what they had made.
And the people came! They came alone and with friends; they came on accident and they came on purpose; they came for solace and for joy; they came to help or to be helped; they came to get closer to who they really were. Happy birthday to this super being! She’s a queen, a magic maker, and a total Joan of Arc. I will forever be in awe of her power and her light, her willingness to walk beside heartache, seek and find, and elevate every person who walks through the proverbial door.
Of course she was born on July 4th Eve, because she’s a firework in human form and she was just getting started. Happy birthday to the CEO of celebration and inspiration, my dear Molly Weiss Breen!
Happy Monday!
We also are escaping to our cars to listen to the @jonasbrothers during our shelter in place. Wishing you joy in the little things, dear women!
