I had some guys in town for the “battle of the bay” that goes on in downtown Tampa. One of their request was to catch a shark because every time they go out and try and catch them they get skunked. Luckily for them, there’s no shortage of sharks around right now!

Had a fun charter with the LeGrand family recently! We caught a bunch of snook in multiple different spots and also caught them some snapper to take to a local restaurant to get it cooked up for dinner.

Summertime fishing is definitely one of my favorite times to fish, minus the scorching heat! 😂

Manatees are always a welcome site to see while we’re out fishing as they can be very playful and sometimes they bring in other fish like cobia which makes for a fun fight!

If you’re out boating for the holiday make sure you keep an eye out for these slow moving giants as they can be hard to see and usually sit about a foot under the water which makes them prone to being hit by boats. Besides the obvious of not wanting to injure an innocent animal you also want to be careful because you will be looking at an expensive mechanic bill for the damage they do to your boat and your holiday fun will be over quickly. If you do hit a manatee make sure to report the location to the FWC at 1(888)-404-3922

We’ve had some excellent fishing recently with snook taking the main stage on almost all of our charters but also getting a mixed bag. We caught snook, redfish, trout, snapper, and flounder on this 4 hr trip and most of these fish were sight fished!
