Fun day fishing in the gulf with some super cool repeat clients Chase and Rebecca yesterday. Plenty of action and a nice variety of species to go around all day. I even got to reel one in myself which rarely happens on charters haha

In between cold fronts in the Gulf of Mexico we can get some perfect weather that lets us head offshore to target all kinds of different species we don’t normally target the rest of the year. Goliath grouper are just one of those many species. This one lost the battle this day but don’t let this picture fool you, he won the battle the next day.

Don’t let the media and crazy people on social media tell you otherwise. It’s safe to be out there and plenty of fish in the area still!

The water is still a little tan from all the rain but most of the areas are just as clear as you’d expect any other day of the year. Lots of wildlife out there as well!
