“Unfortunately, our streak of 103 years is over. The Bay Area is being hit by a major hurricane. Winds are down to 120 mph and is weakening. Unfortunately, the surge will be a big issue for much of the coast. The NHC has adjusted the track closer to the Bay. They now forecast a surge of 6 to 9 feet in the Bay. That is lower than the 10-15 feet surge originally predicted. I suspect the SOUTHERN Bay will see more water than the Northern side…

For a century, Tampa Bay and St Petersburg have just missed impacts from major hurricanes. Unfortunately, that streak ends today.

We have prepared for the worst and the best we can. Now we hope for the best. Please keep your prayers coming.

Lots of folks are asking about Rule #7. (Don't freak out unless I'm freaking out). Here's the deal. We ALL know how serious this storm is. Now is NOT the time to freak out. Now IS the time for action. We have work to do. Work to prepare ourselves. Work to help our friends and neighbors. Work to comfort our children. Making important decisions is hard. Making those choices while freaking out is harder. You can do this!! We have a day and a half to get ready for Milton. Hopefully, the shear we're forecasting will knock him down a peg or 2. (I think it will) We are a tight knit community. We WILL get through this, TOGETHER. ❤️

Our remodeling is finally completed and now we are officially back open for rentals!

We are so grateful that we have survived Hurricane Helene with very minimal damage especially considering most of our neighbors losing a lot of their belongings if not all and so many people losing their homes in our beautiful surrounding cities.

And now are expecting Hurricane Milton hitting Tampa directly this week. We hope and pray that Hurricane Milton does not add to all those families’ pain and leave us all with minor better yet no damage and absolutely no harm to people on its path.

Fully remodeling is almost complete! Can’t wait to share the Before and After pics and videos once it is complete! We have all brand-new furniture throughout the condo and upgraded outdoor patio furniture and brand-new swing; brand-new kitchen extension, new coffee bar, fresh indoor paint including the doors/frames and our building has just been painted outside as well! And now we have a brand-new portal washing machine for those urgent small loads when you don’t want to go out to our 24/7 Laundry at Waterside South. We will be back on the market for rentals again soon! Thank you for your patience during our remodeling period!
