I’ve been doing more painting again. I never thought I would really take a break, but I’ve been enjoying learning digital sculpting and it demands time and attention. Now that I’ve gotten the basics down , I’m making time for painting again and at some point these two art forms will merge. Until then, I have a ton of miniatures and models to paint.

One of those unexpected things to paint. Reptile pet memorials. Now that I’ve done a couple, I have a couple more requests. The design is by MatMireMakes. I printed and painted based on photos. Note: the bearded dragon is mostly filament color. I got lucky with that area of gradient.

I finished up my Monsterpocalypse and Bushido commissions. They’re put aside for photos. I’m now working on this Tiamat from Lord of the Print. I printed this one out over a few days between two machines. In the middle is a figure that was sent to me. It’s Chmerih Faceless, I’m not sure from what sculptor. Is a neat little mini though.

Some may argue I spend too much time in my studio....maybe.

I've been having trouble properly shaking my paints by hand.. So I rigged my handpiece, a file and rubber band. It works way better.

When you don't want to spend too much on cat toys, mail boxes work well...

My day job wanderings bright me by the largest hobby store I've ever been to. Time Machine in Manchester, CT. I took only a few pics of part of the store. There's another building across the street for tabletop games. They're not open until later though. My credit card thanks them for that.
