To all our neighbors close to us by Sprague. We are trying hard not to purchase new styrofoam peanuts, but rely on folks recycling them with us! If any of my Facebook friends that live in Salem or come to Salem want to help out our pottery business, we are pro recycling those annoying packaging peanuts that come in so many packages. We prefer to use recycle ones instead of adding more to the earth.

We will sadly not able to participate in the Corvallis Fall Festival this year due to Dave's back issues (just too hard on his back setting up and tearing down) but we are hoping that if you have a chance on your way to Corvallis, you take a little "detour" to our studio and Gallery in South Salem. Well, did I get a sweet surprise when I opened my Feb. Mar 2023 issue from the Willamette Art Center here in Salem Oregon. Featured on Page 3 was the most wonderful “thank You” I could have received. Let me just say that it has been an honor and privilege to work with these wonderful potters. Their Empty Bowls Project offers potters the opportunity to help provide meals for families Marion -Polk Food share by producing and selling these bowls and donating the proceeds to Food Share. I have been joining this incredible group of potters for a few years each Fall during their “throw-a-thons”. Such great opportunity for me to join forces for this great cause. I love the folks at WAC and the good works they provide.

Today was a wonderful experience for me at the potter's wheel. I was commissioned to throw an urn for a bellowed pet. While I was throwing the urn, I was able to focus on what joy this furry member of their family must have brought to them.
I decided to throw a few more "pet urns" too... It gave me time to pray in thanks for all the joy, laughter, and cuddly blessings my pets have brought to me and my family over the years. I am so grateful for their companionship and I am especially thankful that Dave has become a "dog lover" too!
