The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Yuma Field Office has published the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to consider the effects of right-of-way applications for the Ranegras Plains Energy Center. A copy of the Draft EIS is available on the BLM’s ePlanning website: https://eplanning.blm.gov/eplanning-ui/project/2020050/510.
The 45-day public comment period for the draft EIS begins January 10 and ends February 25. The BLM invites you to participate by attending the upcoming virtual public meeting on February 5, 2025, and submitting comments by February 28, 2025.
Public Meeting
The BLM will hold a virtual public scoping meeting for the project using the Zoom application, which is free to download and use.
To register for the Zoom Webinar (required):

2. Once registered, you will receive a Meeting ID and Participant ID via email. Keep that confirmation email, as you will need it to join the meeting.
