Montego Bay replaced its sign out front of the building, and added a new one in the back, visible by the freeway. They are changing out their branding.

Some very bad news.

The Wendover casinos are no longer paying half the costs of sending a bus out there.

Also, they are not including the buffet in their group casino packages.

This means we would have to charge $52 a ticket, and the buffet would no longer be part of the package.

That would be a tough sell for us.

We hope they will restart the program in the future. Until they do so, we cannot run any more Big Gay Fun Buses.

Cross your fingers and other extremities for us.

While we were very hopeful that we would be able to begin trips to West Wendover right around now, with the recent surge in Covid cases, including breakthrough cases has us rethinking that. Since Utah is barely half vaccinated and the Delta variant (and now Omicron) is so easily transmissible, we don't feel it is yet time to restart.

That and the fact I (Michael Aaron) am one of those who was being safe and still caught a case of breakthrough Covid and was completely down for 3 weeks and still recovering slowly.

We will announce both here and through email to previous riders when we decide it looks good to begin trips.

Yes - the Tardi Mardi Feb 29 bus is already s o l d - o u t. We considered a third bus, but decided we just don't have the wherewithall to make that happen. Sorry about that.

As tickets become available if/when people cannot make it, we will post on the event page.

On the Jan. 11 bus trip, we are going to the Rainbow Casino & Resort! It just happens to be the closest to a certain dispensary that opened this week. Also very close to Lee's

We will send out a survey after to see if you have a preference for future trips.

A reminder that transporting alcohol and THC over state lines is against the law. If it were me (and I would never, of course) I'd be VERY discreet about it.

We have good news: we are working with a different bus company, and all of their buses are much newer than what we've had in the past. Larger screens for movies, most of not all have outlets at each seat, new bus smell, etc. We are very excited!
