Latest trip down to Southern Utah. This was a personal trip on the new bike, a 1985 Honda Goldwing. What a great ride! I spent a few days in Capital Reef National Park and then on to Bryce Canyon National Park for a few days.

There are more national parks in Utah than anywhere in the country. Each of these parks and many other places in Utah offer unique features and formations that are simply amazing. Places that can’t be found anywhere else in the world. There are also more designated Scenic Byways in Utah than anywhere else in the United States. SALT LAKE CITY TOUR

Salt Lake City was founded by the Mormons in 1847, and became a state within the union in 1896. As Temple Square is the center for their religion, it's also the center of the grid system for the streets in all of Salt lake County. This makes it easy to navigate in and throughout the valley.

Nestled into the foothills of the Wasatch Mountain Range, Salt Lake City sits about 4300 feet above sea level, with a population of about 220,000 within Salt Lake City.

Salt lake City is well on it's way to becoming a world class city. With plenty of options for the art's, education, health care, shopping, dining, and night life.

The LDS religion is one of the newest Christian faiths to emerge on the scene. Founded by Joseph Smith in 1830 when he published the book of Mormon up in Palmyra New York. Thus giving birth to the LDS religion. LDS stands for The Church of Jesus Christ of "Latter Day Saints"

Temple Square is the world headquarters for the LDS faith. What Vatican City is to the Catholics, Temple Square is to the Mormons! "So when in Salt lake" be sure to visit Temple Square.

PARK CITY TOUR

Utah truly does have the greatest snow on earth, and with 13 ski resorts we also have some of the most available snow. More then half of our resorts are less then an hour from the airport, making it the most convenient too. Although Park City is with out a doubt the crowning jewel. Just 35 miles from Salt Lake City, the town sits about 7000 ft. above sea level, and has a population of about 7400 residence. However Park City attracts over 600,000 visitors annually.

The town was originally called Parleys Park City, and became popular for mining back around the turn of the last century. As most of the mining stopped by the 1950's, Park City was well on its way to becoming a ghost town. Then in 1963 the first ski resort
(Treasure Mountain) was introduced to the area. Slowly but surely, people began to realize the benefits in Park City for its great snow, and easy access. As the town continued to gain notoriety, Utah won the bid for the 2002 Winter Olympics and the rest was history.

Since the 2002 Winter Olympics, Park City has become a year round destination for business and leisure travelers alike. With so many activities (to many to list) regardless of the season. The Sundance Film Festival calls Park City home, as does the US ski team. One can often view the skiers practicing their art at Utah Olympic Park. Then there's famous "Main Street" with all it's shops, dining, gallery's, and night life. Park City is a great place to visit whenever your in Utah.

ALPINE LOOP TOUR

The Alpine Loop down in Utah county is arguably the best scenic tour of northern Utah! It offers an incredible drive through one of the most dramatic canyons in and of the Wasatch Front, as well as a spectacular drive over a nine thousand foot mountain pass around the back side of Mt. Timpanogos. With it's winding "scenic byways" meandering through some of the most breath taking views in northern Utah, this tour will not disappoint. Along the way are plenty of places for fishing, hiking, climbing, biking, picnic's, camping, and more. The ski resort, Sundance is also along this loop, and a great place to stop in for lunch. This is one of our most popular guided tours, not to be missed.

ANTELOPE ISLAND TOUR

If your going to be in the greater Salt Lake area, and have a few hours, Antelope Island is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Approximately one hour from the city, it's a place to take in the Great Salt Lake at it's very best!!

Named by Kit Carson and John C. Fremont while exploring the Great Salt Lake back in 1845. Antelope Island is the largest of ten islands located within the lake. It's also the only one accessible by car, via a 7.5 mile causeway.

One of the first things you will notice when you arrive on the island, is the stillness. Antelope Island is so peaceful, one can easily find a place to enjoy a moment of solitude.

One of the most incredible things you will notice are the five hundred head of American Bison roaming the island. This will give you a truly intimate experience with these amazing beasts not to be found anywhere else!

Something else you can't help but notice is the incredible scenery in every direction.The Great Salt Lake, other islands within the lake, and the Wasatch mountain range can be seen from almost every viewpoint. We also recommend taking in a sunset from the west beach.
