Marsha found two important parts of her husband’s family history. A grandmother in an orphanage and a family plantation! We are so happy for her!
Our motto at Ancestor Seekers because we want to teach you what we know!
When I combine the research trips of these remarkable women with Ancestor Seekers, the total comes to 53 trips!!! I think they like our program. Thank you Pat, Bev, Naomi and Kathy!
Welcome to the 92nd
Ancestor Seekers Research Week!
Our November Research Week is almost full! https://ancestorseekers.com/event/november-2024
Listen to Maria’s experience with Ancestor Seekers!
We were sad to say “Goodbye” to our August guests but excited to say “Hello” to our September guests in less than a week! Happy Discoveries Ahead!!!
Paul’s great find! “This paid for the trip!”
Come and join us on a genealogy journey to remember!
Some of you will understand how mind-boggling it was for me to actually get my very own fingers on a book that is a collection of actual documents written in 1836-1849. It did not, in fact, contain anything helpful for my research, but was actually written by actual people in the actual house where my 3x great-grandmother was born in 1848. Cool, no?
In just one week from today we are delighted to welcome our August guests to our Ancestor Ssekers event! Can’t wait to research!
Wayne has a great story to tell about his last minute decision to bring some old German letters to our Research Week. They were the key to bursting his brick wall!
When you share your genealogical finds, you are building a legacy and contributing to future generations. Collaborative efforts often lead to more accurate and comprehensive family trees!
Heather described her Ancestor Seeker’s trip as “priceless!” Her father is ecstatic about all that she found on the July Research Week!
Our guests learn a lot from our DNA class and from the experts at the FamilySearch Library. Fran and Fred made a great breakthrough!
Ancestor Seekers had the privilege of helping this family research their African American family out of Fayette, Tennessee. They knew the name of their great grandmother and who she married. They quickly found a marriage record and a picture! With help from our consultants, land records were located and even a book that gave them more details about their family. We all celebrated their wonderful finds!
We just finished our July Research Week! It is such a privilege to welcome our guests to Salt Lake City and the FamilySearch Library! Stay tuned for a few of our many fascinating finds!
We love seeing parents and children doing family history work together. It's a journey that not only enriches understanding of the past but also strengthens their relationships in the present.
🌟🇺🇸 This July 4th, let's remember the trailblazers in our family history who helped shape our nation's story. Wishing everyone a safe and joyful Independence Day from all of us at Ancestor Seekers! 🎇💫
In preparation for our upcoming July Research Week (Yay!), I thought I’d send out a quick message you could all relate to, all you Esteemed-Stuff-Knower-Abouters and Wannabe-Stuff-Knower-Abouters in our Research groups. Here’s hoping that next week we all add to the stuff we know about!
We are looking forward to welcoming our July guests in one week from today! Always a joy to meet people who care so much about their family!
Our goal at Ancestor Seekers is to teach you how to be better researchers! Giving you the tools you need to do this very important work.
