Reelfoot Fishing Trips

Craig Vancleave is a fourth generation guide on Reelfoot Lake. His knowledge of the lake is
immense, knowing every part of the lake. Whether it be the best fishing spots or the tricks of the trade, Craig has learned all the secrets of Reelfoot Lake. The family tradition of the sport was passed on to him, and with a small

son of his own, he continues the legacy. Craig is an experienced guide practicing professionally for 15 years. Trips are available for Crappie, Bass and Bluegill. Fishing Packages

300.00/ day for one to two people $450.00/ day for three people

Trips include poles, bait and tackle, except for bass fishing. Just bring a lunch and drinks. If the fish aren't biting, Craig will find somewhere they are. Fishing on Reelfoot Lake is a great experience, but fishing with Craig promises to make it one you will never forget!! Duck Hunting Trips

Had to take a little break from the blind. 1hr 5min done with a limit of crappie. Not much of a break but we'll worth it.

It has been alot of work but I can finally see the end. A few more touch ups and stall brush on the little blind and just a little more wiring on blind 1 and then it's time for decoys.

Had Mr.Tim out for his 1st day of slab hunting. The NE winds made it little tough but he ended up putting 28 slabs in the boat just a couple shy of his limit and tossing several more back that made length to let grow.

I had the pleasure of taking Mrs. Crappie and Mr. Paul fishing on Reelfoot. Spider rigging proves successful in fall. We fished with six poles and minnows in water 10 feet deep.

Unfortunately I forgot to post yesterday's outing with Craig and his granddaughter Brooklyn. After a rough start by 10 Brooklyn was filling the livewell and ended up with a nice mess.

Crappie bite was still a little tough and the crazy wind didn't help. We were still able to put another mess in the boat.

Had a great time with this couple today, and sent them back to Indiana with one catching his PB and a good mess for the cooker. The bite was still a little off but getting better.

Robert laid the smack down on some Reelfoot July crappie, all of the big ones were released back into the water to fight another day. Still leaving him with a good mess for the grease. I even got in on a few.
