Let’s talk reviews! 🗣️

Most people think five-star reviews are for the best, one-star reviews are for the worst, and three stars are for average.

But it turns out short term rental platforms penalize hosts every time they get a four-star review or lower. If rating drops below 4.2 for long enough, hosts can be removed from the platform. 😞

Below is a guideline for when you are leaving a review:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: Perfection does not exist, but we were happy here and our host provided a clean and comfortable stay.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: Several issues need to be improved & my host didn’t seem receptive to making our stay better after we informed them that something needed attention.

⭐️⭐️⭐️: Major problems that should be fixed immediately and we would not stay here again.

⭐️⭐️: This property should never have been listed for public use.

⭐️: Health hazard. We found several issues and could not stay comfortably here and left within hours of check in
