Remembering how much fun Joe and I had celebrating our anniversary in Acapulco last week! The Cliff divers were amazing, as was the food!!
They have fixed up some properties since last October’s hurricane, but still most of the resorts along the ocean are shells of their former self. Our Mayan Palace resort was beautiful though, and the staff very sweet, even decorated our room beautifully for our anniversary!

New federal rules say “from now on when your flight is canceled for any reason you are entitled to an automatic cash refund and it has to be prompt” Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg told CNN.
Also, if you get delayed significantly – that means 3 hours on domestic flights or 6 hours internationally – or if your itinerary is changed significantly, you’re going to get your money back.”…NOT Just a credit as has often been the case.
…These new rules were announced by the transportation department on Wednesday and also require airlines to provide upfront information about the baggage fees; and require a refund of any baggage fees paid for bags that arrive more than 12 hours late. Also a refund for any fees to purchase Wi-Fi or upgraded seats if the airline does not deliver.
And the airlines must provide the refund to your credit card within seven days.
Good that airlines are being held to higher standards, for your convenience!
