I’ve wanted to write a blog series about this for YEARS! Should I? Anywho, it drives me nuts when I see people belittling the stories of these strong women simply because they are princesses and most of them have a love story intertwined.

I just got back from a super quick trip to Walt Disney World and I CANNOT say enough good things about this adventure!

A dear friend of mine and I flew out on Tuesday and checked in to Port Orleans- Riverside, experienced EPCOT and Magic Kingdom on Wednesday, hopped around the monorail resorts on Thursday morning and flew back that night!

Here are my 3 favorite things from this vacation:
✨EPCOT Festival of the Arts: Art has always been a huge part of my life and having the chance to experience this festival again was just lovely! There is so much to see and do; I can’t wait to bring my kids next time!
✨Royal Guest Room @ Port Orleans-Riverside: My favorite resort outside of the monorail loop! The resort itself is quiet and relaxing, and gives all of the laid back vibes and picturesque scenery. The room itself is filled with princess theming and is just plain fun!
✨Taking pictures at Golden Hour: The sun peaking out from over the tree tops and gently kissing Cinderella castle is what Disney Magic is made of! I’ve never experienced such beauty!

The absolute best thing about this trip though was our 10:25 pm reservation at Cinderella’s Royal Table💜 Not only was it a magical way to end the day but we walked out to a nearly empty Main Street! Solo pictures FOR DAYS y’all! I cannot imagine not making a late night resi at CRT for every trip!

Theme parks aren't generally known for the high quality dining options. Who wants to pay $12 for a cold slice of scrawny pizza?!

That's one of the things that makes a Disney vacation such a great value! The food is delicious and there is a wide variety of options to please everyone in your family. Picky eaters? No worries! Take it from someone who wonders how she will convince her kids to eat if dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets and strawberries ever cease to exist 🤦🏻‍♀️ Those with food allergies or dietary restrictions or preferences also have tons of delectable dining options to explore!

Walt Disney World has brought back their famous dining plans and people could not be more excited!

Both the Quick-Service and Disney Dining Plan offer some great options for meals, beverages, and snacks for everyone but the biggest difference is that the Disney Dining Plan Is going to cover those coveted character dining experiences like Chef Mickey's or Cinderella Royal Table (to name a few) and even the more upscale locations like The Boathouse at Disney Springs!

It can be really hard to admit that you just can’t balance it all.

Kids.
School.
Meetings.
Traffic.

There are A LOT of perks to staying onsite at Walt Disney World but perhaps the biggest perk is being able to book your dining reservations 60 days prior to your vacation!

Not only does this help with smoothing out the planning process but it also helps build up the excitement to your vacation finally starting!

Here are some things you should know about the most difficult dining reservations to book at Walt Disney World:

🌺Ohana: Located at Disney’s Polynesian Resort, this magical experience is not to be missed! If you’re looking for breakfast with Lio and Stitch or you’d like a taste of the South Pacific for dinner, this is the perfect option!
🏰Cinderella’s Royal Table: A feast fit for royalty! You’ll be greeted by Cinderella and her princess friends will swing by while you’re dining to chat and take photos. There are plenty of family-friendly options to enjoy no matter what meal you enjoy in the castle, everyone will have a magical time.
🇫🇷Topolino’s Terrace: Take a trip on the Skyliner to the Riviera Resort to enjoy breakfast with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy! January is going to be a VERY big month at Walt Disney World!

🏰Park Hopping without limit has returned! If you have a Park Hopper added to your ticket than you can have coffee in Magic Kingdom, lunch at EPCOT, a mid-day snack in Animal Kingdom, and close out the night with the brand new fireworks show at EPCOT!

🏰Since the parks reopened post Covid we’ve had to make park reservations prior to entry. Come January 9, 2024, those with date based tickets (standard tickets in a vacation package) or an Annual Pass* will no longer need to make a reservation prior to park entry! The parks are still subject to capacity and you’ll certainly need a plan, but this will add a little bit of wiggle room when we are planning your magical adventure.
(* Annual Passes are still subject to black out dates and will still need a reservation to enter Magic Kingdom on a weekend or before 2 pm on a weekday)

🏰The Dining Plan has returned! January 9th is the day we’ve been waiting for! Two dining plan options have been introduced and can be added to Walt Disney World vacation packages for those staying on site. This is a great way to budget for food!

I am not a morning person.

That fact is so strong that not even the magic of Disney can’t change it. Truth is that I am super jealous of people who can rope drop! I would love to be able to move at what I can only assume is the speed of light and appear bright eyed and bushy tailed in front of the castle in order to ride all of the things and take all of the photos.

But that just isn’t me.

A lot of my clients love rope dropping! In fact, I often build it in to their itineraries so that they can be there the moment that Cast Members drop the rope to release them into the various magical lands all over Disney properties. You just won’t ever find me standing next to them. (I’ve done it before, but I’m tired of fighting who I am as a human.)
