2025 MADRIGAL & CHAMBER CHOIR FESTIVALS
Madrigal Festival Participation Regulations

An individual school may enter only one group in a specific division per year. In other words, a school may not enter the same type of group at multiple sites in a given year.

A school with an honor choir at one festival site may not register to compete in that same division at another festival site in a given year.

Messiah Lutheran Church in Plano was home to the largest North Texas Madrigal and Chamber Choir Festival in its six-year history. From quality performances to enthusiasm to support and appreciation of other performing groups, the 2024 festival was simply outstanding. The UIL Sponsor Excellence Award is no small feat – winners are chosen by a distinguished panel of judges in academics, athletics, and music, based on nominations from school principals and superintendents statewide.

Mrs. Wilson's influence resonates not only in the choir room but echoes throughout the entire CRHS school community. Congratulations and thank you for all that you do!

What memories were made February 23 and 24 at Trinity Baptist Church in San Antonio! It is difficult to find enough superlatives to adequately describe the significance of the 48 performances at the 53rd annual San Antonio Madrigal and Chamber Choir Festival Beyond the unity of purpose, artistry, and dedication displayed, what the participating choirs accomplished goes far beyond what was unique and special about each performance. Ensemble after ensemble demonstrated focus, teamwork, vulnerability, disciplined effort, trust in each other and the conductor, and so much more. Congratulations to ALL!!!
